Problem:

SOLUTION:

This is not an uncommon scenario.  The majority of companies that we work with experience the same struggles. They have been so focused on doing what it took to get the work in and out (building bottom line) that they don’t have systems in place to handle the growth. And the old systems are on overload and so are their people. The COO and the Administrative team were stressed, overworked, and overpowered.

Our role was to help the COO and Team become more efficient, effective, productive leaders, build up their confidence, and teach them the tools and strategies that would support them in being the leaders they were hired to be.

We worked with leaders individually and as a group to learn value based leadership skills, systems design and implementation, strengthen communication and negotiation skills, productivity, accountability, responsibility, getting clear about roles as leaders, setting clear direction for their staff and departments.

RESULTS:

One of the hardest things that newly promoted leaders have to learn is that the skills that got them where they are, ARE going to be the skills that are going to get them where they need to go. They have to learn how to go from ‘task oriented’ to vision oriented very quickly.

So we worked individually with THE Manager to strengthen their leadership skills.

We identified what their goals and priorities were, taught them strategies for effectively communicating and delegating to staff, moving through that ‘To Do’ List with less stress and more success, and how to stay calm and focused when under pressure, while keeping an eye on big picture.
